Abstract
The aim of this study was to explore if a general model for interdisciplinary collaboration can describe the collaboration between employees at the Norwegian National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (ØKOKRIM). The results showed that the model covered 95.4 % of the statements. The remaining 4.6 % of the statements were objected to a thematic analysis, which resulted in seven categories seen upon as distinctive for ØKOKRIM. The results also showed that the distribution of the statements in the model is skewed, and that the three categories; collective ownership of goals , interdependence and structural characteristics are prominent. The results indicates that ØKOKRIM is an organization embracing a culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and that for the greater part this collaboration concern the set of rules and norms the collaborators work within, and the negotiations they conduct, together with conditions like leadership support and type of work. Keywords: collaboration, interdisciplinary collaboration, team, teamwork, ØKOKRIM.
