dc.description.abstractIn this work we demonstrate how onboard de-noise processing can improve survey efficiency by reducing the need for data re-acquisition. This is illustrated through a number of de-noising examples showing seismic interference, swell, strumming, electrical leakage (cross-feed), snapping shrimp and feeding fish, respectively. We also present a novel approach for dealing with cross-feed and severe strum/tug noise during acquisition.
