Abstract
Internett byr på mange muligheter for redaksjoner som ønsker å spre sitt innhold til brukerne. Spørsmål er derimot i hvilken grad redaksjoner tar i bruk denne muligheten til sin fordel, og hva som skjer med journalistikken om de gjør det. Oppgaven ser nærmere på i hvilken grad fire av de største lokalavisene i Østfold i Øst-Norge krysspubliserer sitt innhold fra sine papiraviser til sine nettaviser. Her vil funnene bli sett på i lys av tidligere teorier om remediering. I tillegg vil de samme artiklene bli sett på i lys av tabloidisering, for å se nærmere på hva som skjer med artiklene når de krysspubliseres på tvers av to plattformer. Totalt 3.242 papiravisartikler og 915 nettavisartikler ligger til grunn for de tall og funn denne oppgaven presenterer.
Internet offers a specter of possibilities for newsrooms that wishes to reach their users with their articles. The question is to what extent these newsrooms uses these possibilities to their advantage, and what happens to the journalism if they do so. This assignment takes a closer look at to which extent four of the biggest newspapers in Østfold in the east of Norway cross publishes their articles from their paper based newspapers to their online newspapers. The findings will be looked at in the light of earlier theories of remediation. In addition the same articles will be looked at in the light of earlier theories of tabloidization, in order to see what happens to the articles when they are cross published between to platforms. A total of 3.242 paper based newspaper articles and 915 online newspaper articles are the background for the numbers and findings this assignment represents.
