Abstract
El presente estudio busca investigar el uso de los eufemismos insultantes, que sustituyen las palabras tabú, por los jóvenes de Madrid y de Oslo. Como fuentes de la investigación se usan dos corpora orales, el Corpus Oral de Lenguaje Adolescente de Madrid (COLAm), y Norsk Talespråkskorpus - Oslodelen (NoTa-Oslo). Metodológicamente, se han incluido todos los eufemismos insultantes encontrados en los corpora, y luego investigado las diferencias estadísticas, además de integrar estos usos de los eufemismos en el marco teórico de la pragmática y la sociolingüística. El objetivo principal del estudio es averiguar qué tipos de eufemismos son utilizados por los jóvenes españoles y noruegos, analizar los efectos que causan, además de observar en qué situaciones se usan. Asimismo, se propone encontrar las diferencias estadísticas según la clase social y el género de los informantes, además de investigar si la nacionalidad y la cultura afecta al uso de los eufemismos. Finalmente, se trata de encontrar la relación entre el uso de los eufemismos y las palabras tabú en el lenguaje juvenil.
The present study seeks to investigate the use of insulting euphemisms that replace taboo words in the language of adolescents from Madrid and Oslo. This study will be conducted through the use of two oral corpora, The COLAm corpus (Corpus Oral de Lenguaje Adolescente de Madrid), and the NoTa-Oslo corpus (Norsk Talespråkskorpus – Oslodelen). Methodologically, all insulting euphemisms found in the corpora are included, and then they have been studied through their statistical differences, and then integrated into the theoretical framework of pragmatics and sociolinguistics. The main goal of this study is to discover what euphemisms are used by adolescents from Madrid and Oslo, analyse the effect they cause, and to discover in what situations they are used. In addition, this study seeks to find differences in the use of euphemisms based on the social class, gender, nationality and culture of the informants. The final purpose is to find a relationship between the use of euphemisms and taboo words in the youth language.
