Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to investigate the impact different variables have on processed GNSS observations, mainly how the results vary between different processing programs, and if additional GNSS-constellations and different troposphere parameters will affect the results. The work done in this thesis is in relation to the mapping and surveillance of unstable rock slopes in Troms and Finnmark. For the mapping carried out by NGU, new receivers (Septentrio Altus NR3) are taken into use. They are compatible with more GNSS than the old ones (Topcon Legacy E+). It is also desired to find a replacement for Topcon Pinnacle, a processing program that has not been updated since 2007. Additionally, an investigation on whether the daily variations NVE are experiencing in their continuous surveillance of unstable rock slopes in Troms is caused by the troposphere model in use has been carried out. Data collected at Reinbenkan (unstable rock slope in Lebesby) in 2019 and 2020, as well as a data series from 2020 from Jettan (unstable rock slope in KÃ¥fjord) were used. Data from Reinbenkan has been processed in Topcon Pinnacle, MAGNET Tools and RTKLib, and then adjusted in GISLINE LandmÃ¥ling. Further, the results from MAGNET Tools and RTKLib have been compared with those from Topcon Pinnacle. In MAGNET Tools and RTKLib, processings with both two (GPS and GLONASS) and four (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and Galileo) constellations were carried out, and the results were compared to each other. The displacement at Reinbenkan was calculated. Data from Jettan were processed in MAGNET Tools, once with standard troposphere parameters, and once with the actual troposphere parameters collected from the meteorological station at Jettan. A comparison between the two results was made. The results from MAGNET Tools does not differ significantly from those from Topcon Pinnacle. RTKLib differs slightly more, mainly in the height component. Neither was there any difference of significance between the results where to and four constellations were used. Net displacement between 2019 and 2020 were approx. 5 mm towards 375 ð€€€ 400gN. Comparison of the results from the processing of the dataseries from Jettan only shows differences of significance in the height component, where there are distinctly larger daily variations where the standard troposphere parameters were used. In general, the results indicates that the toprospheremodel is the most important source for the variations observed between the different processings.
