Conclusion: I see two ways in which this study has contributed to design knowledge. Young patients with chronic illness are interested in using mobile technology for working with goals. They seek to work through mastery and want tools that can support them in their short-term and long-term needs. The design guidelines are useful for design towards mastery with this specific user-group. The design proposal shows an example of how mastery can be supported through working goal.eng
