Abstract
Basert på blant annet The Elaboration Likelihood Model of Persuasion, The Persuasive Health Message og The Theory of Probable Behavior, drøfter jeg ulike aspekter knyttet til kilde, budskap og kanal.
Summary
This thesis is an analysis of the persuasive potential in the educational program PRIME For Life. As a result of the overrepresentation in alcohol and drug- abuse among lesbians, gay and bisexual people, the Norwegian Gay Health Committee in 2004, started to offer this program to their target audience. The empirical basis of my thesis is interviews with nine previous PRIME For Life participants, a highly experienced instructor and the leader of the Norwegian Gay Health Committee. Based on models such as The Elaboration Likelihood Model of Persuasion, The Persuasive Health Message and The Theory of Probable Behavior, I discuss aspects related to source, message and channel of communication.
