Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to explore the nature and causes of the socio-environmental conflict taking place in the Private Conservation area Chaparri in Peru through the lenses of a customised Environmental Justice framework that incorporates the role of international and national Human Rights law in the creation and progress of environmental injustices.
