This master thesis has two counterparts. The first one is a written theoretical discussion around the pilot episode of a web-series named Rebolera. The webisode, the second part, was developed independently for a Colombian teenage audience, produced in order to serve as a practical research method for this thesis. This pilot was written using the Norwegian series Skam as an inspiration and reference, mainly after its NABC (Needs/Approach/Benefit/Competition) method for interviewing their target audience, aiming for the production of the Rebolera to be faithful to teenage girls’ tastes and values. As this project mentions two different national contexts that affect the production standards, it embeds the NABC method into independent television production.eng
