Abstract
This thesis is an analysis of televised interviews with norwegian political party leaders aired on TV networks NRK and TV2 prior to parliament election in 2009. The analysis focuses on the journalists questions and responses, and consists of an categorization of these using analytic tools from conversation analysis, rhetorical analysis and pragmatics. By comparing analysis of 2009 interviews with findings from a different analysis of party leader interviews from 2005, the thesis also analyses whether journalists are biased in their questioning of parties or party coalitions, and compare the two networks in signs of bias/non-bias.
